"After years of practicing ballet, I took a class in 1979 with Marie Svoboda (Seattle yoga pioneer). I was hooked by the way it made me feel about me and my life... quite the contrast to my years of ballet where I never felt good enough. I have been doing yoga ever since.

My studio came about because of a need for practice space in a beautiful and remote island setting.

I like to convey, that with consistency, awareness and patience in one's practice- one cannot only keep the body moving in ways it was designed to move, improve focus, concentration and balance; it also keeps one in the present moment... the only place to be. I have a small, core group of great instructors here at my studio and we look forward to practicing with you in the future."
