Monday
Arrive on the island, where you will be picked up at either the local airport or ferry terminal and shuttled to your home for the next three nights- Lakedale Resort. The resort is lovely and has many amenities to keep you busy or relaxed throughout your stay. Once everyone has arrived, we will all get together for a social meet and greet and a tour of the island. This will give the group a chance to become acquainted. We will have afternoon yoga practice and return to the resort in the late afternoon. Once at the resort, you can have a glass of wine, swim in the lake, fish or initiate a game of volleyball before heading off to dinner at a wonderful local restaurant.

Tuesday
We head out early to our yoga studio (a short drive) for morning practice and then return to the resort for an extended continental breakfast. After breakfast, we will have time to shower and gather whatever we need for the day. We will head out in search of our resident killer whales by driving and walking along the west side of the island and visiting our local whale watch park and public beaches. After lunch, we will visit quaint Pelindaba Lavender Farm, Crystal Acres Alpaca Farm and take a refreshing hike up Mount Young for a perfect view of Haro Strait and it's surrounding bays. Now it's time to visit San Juan Vineyards, where we will taste some local wine and take in the gorgeous view of Beaverton Valley. The vineyard has a lovely deck where we will relax with a glass of vino and some yummy appetizers. We head back to Lakedale to freshen up before another great dinner.

Wednesday
Morning practice, either yoga or pilates, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Today we meet our kayak guide at an intimate location on the northwest side of the island. After we get fitted with our gear and complete a brief lesson, we paddle off from shore for a guided, safe and extremely fun tour through the calm waters that we have gazed at since our arrival. Kayaking allows us to get a little more up close and personal with the rocky shoreline and marine life than we would be able to aboard a powerboat. On our trips you get to experience the best of both! We will stop at a cove or pebble beach midway to relax a bit and have lunch. We head back to Lakedale where you will have ample time to yourself before heading to dinner.

Thursday
Morning practice followed by breakfast. Today we will meet Captain Jim at Snug Harbor Marina and board his new Glacier Bay Sport Catamaran for a whale/wildlife and island tour. Although our waters are typically calm, Jim's boat is very stable and can easily and safely handle any sea conditions that we may encounter along the way, due to its modern twin-hull design. The trip will be intimate, as the boat will be reserved exclusively for our group and you will always have the option of indoor or outdoor seating with great photo opportunities along the way. The boat also offers a comfortable, secure and private head for your convenience. The boat will be stocked up with lunch and lots of extras! This afternoon we will gather our things from Lakedale and head to town. Here we can shop, check out the whale museum, walk the docks or anything you choose before catching your ferry or airplane ride back to your connecting travel plans
